A Festival of Fennel Revival

Fennel is a cool and refreshing vegetable, but we’ve had a few folks ask for insight into great ways to enjoy Treebrook Farm’s fresh fennel.

We love all sorts of water infusions. This Cucumber, Rosemary & Fennel Infused Water is no exception! We love simple combinations, and this one takes the cake!

Roasted Fennel is stupendous, and oh-so-easy! It’s a perfect side dish during summer months. One commenter describes it: “Roasted, fennel caramelizes at the edges and loses its crunch. The licorice notes that were so discernible when the fennel was raw leave only a hint when roasted. Even people who run from anything licorice-ish (like my father) easily enjoy fennel when it is warm and roasted.”

For the soup lovers, Leek & Fennel Soup hits the spot! With a prep time of 25 minutes and only 10 ingredients, this is a great option on a busy day.

If Italian is your favorite cuisine, definitely try Baked Fennel with Parmesan! “A very simple but totally delicious dish. Fennel is baked with cream, creme fraiche and parmesan cheese. An ideal accompaniment to many tomato based italian dishes as the creaminess balances nicely with the tomato.”
